Roller Door Tanks

Koronka bunded fuel storage tanks with Roller Shutter Doors have a built in integrated end compartment the same width and height as the bund. This gives exceptional space for mounting not only the fill point and instrumentation but also pump systems for various applications.

The front compartment with its 300mm high lip acts as a large spillage area for  the tank when filling but also in the emergency of a pipe or pump accidently leaking the spill will be contained. When closed this compartment gives security to whatever application lies behind the door.

The examples below show many application and projects, but not limited to, on which we have used these tanks with roller shutter doors.  Examples are the many fuelling stations for plant and commercial trucks making it easy access for the driver to access the filling hose and return it to its holster whether it be a pedestal/wall mounted pump or a full size cabinet unit.  Other applications included are twinset pumping systems which pump around ring mains or direct to a day tank.  Having a duty standby system gives you peace of mind that, should a pump fail, the control panel with automatically switch to the other pump. Some examples even show dual twinsets when there are two duties to be taken care of : ring main and day tanks on the same project, such as an energy centre.
